Bob Ruhe Artist's Biography

As an artist, Bob is a self-taught generalist. He has acted in 7 productions at the Civic Theatre in Allentown and performed in staged readings for Marvell Repertory Theatre in NYC. He is also a voice actor. Music is another passion. Bob has written and recorded 7 albums of original music, all in the singer/songwriter style. A book Bob wrote was featured in the Remembering Your Spirit segment on the Oprah Show in June of 2000. Bob turned his creative attention to the visual arts when he took lessons at the Baum Art School and pursued an interest in sculpture. In addition to sculpture, Ruhe has developed a 3-dimensional watercolor style that features wildlife images of the Caribbean. His watercolors can be found in homes in Southeastern PA, New Jersey, Maryland, Florida, and the Bahamas. Bob enjoys the visual arts because the wide range of subjects and styles appeals to a broad mix of people.
